Strange & Random Facts:
-- I'm very protective of my friends and family to the point of facing off scary men three times my size.
-- I want to write fiction novels and am currently working on two.
-- I listen to the same song for hours straight.
-- I don't floss enough, exercise enough or wear my reading glasses when I should- I'm going to be toothless, fat and blind by the time I'm 60.
-- I own way more action figures than should be legal.
-- I've had a crush on Johnny Depp since I was ten, back before half the girls who obsess over him now were even born.
-- I have a scottish fold cat named Loki that is truly evil.
-- I own more DVDs than Blockbuster... err well it's a pretty close race.
-- I only own 4 pairs of shoes and three of them are black All-Stars, which I also liked long before they were cool.
-- I'm a recovered anorexic & dysthymic and not embarrassed to talk about either!
-- I started dating my husband because we had 3 common interests- attending art school, hockey & Star Wars.
-- I think I look horrible in pictures except for my passport photo.
-- I've stopped reading Laurell K. Hamilton books because I don't need sex ed... thank you very much.

It has been an emotional week. Disappointments, things to stress about, new beginnings, things ending, secrets revealed, changes, losses, memories. I feel as if I am being yanked constantly from one situation to the next with no time for transition between feelings.
I'm struggling with all the situations in my family right now. Cancer, divorce, financial struggles, divisions within the family, it's all too much. My father who suffers from Hep C revealed to me he also suffers... -
First House Viewing

So we went and looked at the first house on our list. So many good things and MAJOR bad things with it. Good newer windows. Check. Large rooms. Check. Large, fenced yard. Check. Bad foundation needing replaced. Check. Rotting mildewed carpet. Check. No appliances. Check. In the end as much potential as it had, there simply wasn't any way we could afford to give it the massive amount of work it would need, not to mention the new foundation. But we look at another one we are interested in... -

I frequent Amazon.com's book forums these days. Not because I want to but because they are there. I'm always looking for new books to read that fall within my interests, mostly paranormal fiction. Trouble with paranormal fiction is that they don't have their own category. They are always within three different genres; horror, sci-fi/fantasy and romance. Lately they are all turning up... -

Okay ladies... and guys for that matter... I recently tried a frozen dinner, Chicken Carbona. Pretty sure it's an Italian dish and my guess would be it's hard to make? Anyways, when I'm stressed, depressed and miserable I do one one of two things... I starve myself (which we are trying never to do again!) or I find solace in food. I don't even know what to tag this entry with. I needed to let off some steam and this is the worst place to do it but here I am.
I want to make a list of all the fucked up shit happening in my life right now.
My mother and step-father are still in the divorce process and it gets uglier and more traumatic every day. I'm happy to finally see the man who abused me for years leaving my mother's life but the drawn out legalities are making it stressful on her...
